Clinical Supervision
I believe supervision should be a supportive and reflective space that enhances clinical practice for the benefit of clients. I also believe supervision should be a space where clinicians can reflect on decision-making, consider factors which may impact on clinical work, and learn skills to take their clinical practice further. I currently offer regular supervision to CBT therapists and other mental health professionals. I hold a PGCert in Supervision from the University of East London, and I am experienced in supervising clinicians who work using different orientations (e.g., CBT, systemic and psychodynamic).
Consultation Services
As well as regular supervision, I also offer specialist knowledge and experience to provide a professional opinion to organisations regarding specific aspects of their work.
This can include:
developing assessment and treatment pathways for clinical and non-clinical populations (including Local Authority)
assessing and addressing workplace stress using practical solutions
supporting with employee mental health
improving how teams have conversations about diversity and inequality
developing policies and protocols in response to workplace trauma
reviewing clinical and non-clinical services being offered
supporting organisations to work in more evidence-based psychologically informed ways to support client and staff wellbeing.
